Lembang, Bandung

I Want to share my experience, when I went to Bandung, last year. I visited Lembang. Lembang is a district in West Java, Indonesia. This sub-district is about 22 km from the capital city of West Bandung regency to the northeast via Cisarua. The Center of government is in the village of Lembang, Bandung. Lembang District is the easternmost district and is a famous as the tourism destination in West Java. there are so many interesting places to see.

First place that I visited was Hobbit House, actually it a new site of Farm House in Lembang, but designed inspired by the Place in set of Hobbit Film. This tourist spot is located in West Bandung Regency, precisely in the District of Lembang, Cihideung, Jl. Raya Lembang Number 108. To get to this place, people from Jakarta can go through the Cipularang toll road to exit at the Pasteur toll gate. Next to Jl. Sukajadi and enter Jl. Dr. Setiabudi. F

ollow the road to the Lembang area through the campus of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia to Saung Pengkolan Restaurant, which means it is close to the destination. If you have seen the words Farmhouse Dairy Lembang, then you have arrived at your destination. You can also go there using public transportation. If you take the train and stop at Bandung Station, then you can simply use the city transportation (angkot) heading to Station – Lembang and get to your destination.

Actually it was really nice to go there, and I wish, I can bring my friend along with me, in my second visits there.

I visited Kaolin Lake, Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung 2 years ago in 2017. I went there with my sisters, and my cousin also with others family members. Actually, that was my first time to go there, and I was very excited, we planned this for very long time, and finally we could visit it. The Place was very beautiful. To go to Bangka Island, I used airplane, it only took 30 minutes from Palembang to Bangka. and we decided to rent a car to go around the city.

After we arrived, we went to our family relatives, it was at 6 a.m in the morning, really good day to started the day. and we took a rest, to recharge our energy after flight. until afternoon, we rent a car, and waited until the car came to our house. it took 1,5 hours to reach the Lake, because it 70 km from airport. When we arrived, I was amazed by the view, it was so beautiful, what The Almighty God created such a wonderful place, and I was grateful, could witnessed it.

Ok, so what I got, from my little research before, Kaolin is a lake has a clean white color that land and water are colored light blue. This lake is not derived from the crater like Kawah Putih (Lake Crater White) Ciwidey or High King, the lake was formed from the former site of the abandoned mining Kaolin and enhance the natural beauty. Little knowledge of Kaolin. Kaolin is a mineral as industrial materials such as cosmetics, paper, food, toothpaste and Kaolin favored because of its smooth, white, strong, smooth and electric power and low thermal conductivity.

Actually, I’m still tired, but because the view is satisfied I could fell relaxed, and everyone were enjoyed. so Happy could spent my holiday in the beautiful place. I took many photos there, met a new friends, and created memories that will last forever. Maybe others can visited others country, but I think, Indonesia also wonderful place, Many places that I’ haven’t visited yet, but I will travel there someday. I promised.

Borobudur Temple

Borobudur Temple

Borobudur temple is one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Indonesia. It is situated in central Java. Borobudur temple is one of the seven wonders of the world which needs to be preserved its circumstances. The people all over the world know that Borobudur is one of the greatest art works that ever known since long time ago.
Borobudur temple was built by Syailendra Dynasty during the eighth century. It needed more than two million river stones. It is the biggest temple in the world.
After going into some restorations, Borobudur is visited by more and more tourists, both domestic and foreign tourists. Most of them admire Borobudur temple because of its beauty, its elegance and the story of the relief on its walls.
Domestic tourists usually go there by bus or private cars, while foreign tourists like to join travel bureau because they don’t need to think of the transportation, accommodation, and itinerary. There are some money changers around the location. It makes them easier to change their money. But some of them like to bring credit cards and checks.

My family and I have actually been to Borobudur a number of times, but for a long time, in 2007 and 2010. Of course there have been many changes and improvements here and there. What is clear, now the location of the car park is placed far outside the temple building complex. After parking the car, visitors are directed by the road to the drinking and eating area for visitors. Here the traders invade visitors to offer food and drinks, which they say should not be sold in the temple area. There are many traders who sell hats because according to them the temple area is quite hot in the scorching sun. Some even rent out umbrellas. Before entering the park area, visitors must buy an entrance ticket such as an electronic train ticket. The ticket will later be put into a pit so that the entrance iron is open. The park around Borobudur Temple was quite extensive. In this park visitors can ride an elephant or horse as a distraction, of course by paying. After passing through the park, visitors climb the stairs to get to the foot of the temple.
