This is the most charming and most popular beach in Belitung, especially after it has been made as a shooting location for the famous Laskar Pelangi film. Together with Parai Tenggiri Beach, Tanjung Tinggi Beach is the most popular tourist attraction in Bangka Belitung among travel enthusiasts. Located about 30 km from the city center of Tanjungpandan, Tanjung Tinggi Beach has an attractive beach panorama with white sand and granite rocks like other beaches in Bangka Belitung.
Various water sports are available on this beach, in addition to that some of the activities most frequently carried out by tourists include swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, fishing, playing jetski, to exploring by canoe. Of course, public facilities and accommodations will be easily found in this beautiful beach area, from restaurants to hotels and resorts.
